Application

For skin:

• Apply to the application area as needed by massaging and spreading it into the skin.
• In cold areas, shea butter can become very hard. Simply place the shea butter jar (closed) in hot water.
• Leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes and the shea butter should be easier to use.

For hair:

• Apply shea butter directly to hair after moisturizing with a moisturizer (we recommend Kuza Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave In) and leave it in.
• Be sure to massage and comb to distribute evenly. Shea butter can also be applied in liquid form.
• Pour a small amount of shea butter from the container into a small saucepan and heat it on the stove.
• Heat just enough so that the shea butter becomes liquid.
• Do not overheat it or heat it to the point where it is too hot to touch.

Hot oil treatment:

• Apply to hair from roots to tips, avoiding the scalp.
• Spread evenly and leave on with a cap for 30 minutes, then rinse.
• Can also be used as a leave-in.
