LT Piver Paris Pompeia Parfum Lotion 100ml, introduced since 1907, was created for LT Piver by perfumer Pierre Armingeat (1874-1955). Pompeïa was one of the first perfumes to use Amyl Salycilate, a synthetic substance discovered by Georges Darzens in 1896. With Darzens' support, Amyl Salycilate was previously used in LT Piver's Le Trèfle Incarnat, introduced since 1898.
Darzens described the scent of Amyl Salycilate as "the scent of flowering clover under the August heat." Pompeia perfume is a delicious scent known for happiness and joy and for driving away negative energies.
